Inspiration: Andrew Knotts decided to make this piece soon after protests began following the death of George Floyd and others. He painted it digitally in photoshop. It came from a place of frustration at the tragedy, but also the situation of conflict and lack of agreement that it created. He wanted to create an image to symbolize unity, by stripping away all of the fluff, and depicting one individual, with a fist raised for justice. Because he thinks one thing we can all agree on is that we want justice.
